Ewa Nowinska is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Organisational Psychology. She also completed one year university exchange at the University of Barcelona, which led her to move to this beautiful country. During her 6 years in Spain/Catalonia, she continued developing her skills as a psychologist by working with clients struggling with work-related issues, body image or relationship issues.
Since moving to Australia Ewa has commenced support to the clients affected by Eating Disorders, clients undergoing bariatric surgeries, as well as clients with ADHD, Depression and Anxiety.
Ewa has a very warm, client-centred approach, while focusing on providing clients with specific practical tools to address their most urgent issues. She advocates for client’s autonomy and encourages clients in learning how to be their own good therapist.
Ewa uses a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Positive Psychology as well as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Ego- state Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ewa is a SIRA-approved psychologist.
