It is essential that General Practitioners take the whole patient into account when managing a patient with ADHD. In particular, ADHD and ED frequently co-exist and it is vital that focus on the one does not distract from the screening for and management of the other. This presentation aims to provide GPs with a tool kit for identifying, managing and co-ordinating care for patients with ADHD and ED whilst identifying and addressing barriers to providing that integrated care.
You will learn how to make preliminary diagnosis of ADHD in General Practice, efficient ways to provide initial management, find suitable psychiatrist, GP, psychologist, coordinate MDT follow up and set up realistic goals for yourself and your patient, so to achieve their personal best.
