Dr Vicki Nahamkes has completed her degree in Medicine from Melbourne University in 1986.
In 1994 Dr Nahamkes was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
For more than 20 yrs, Dr Nahamkes worked at the forefront of health care in many different roles including remote, rural, indigenous health, and Australian Army Reserves.
Last decade, Dr V Nahamkes has settled into a role of a Primary Care Physician in Melbourne, providing longitudinal and comprehensive care to her patients.
She has continued to expand her knowledge and experience by working in the areas of Women’s Health, Mental Health, Skin Cancer Medicine, Obesity Management, research into Medicinal Cannabis, and management of ADHD.
Dr Vicki Nahamkes has an unwavering commitment to quality, evidence based medicine. She enjoys practicing “slow medicine” and finding solution to complex healthcare needs of her patients.
Her communication style is compassionate yet direct and honest.
